"Thanks so much for the course! After meeting Dave and talking to him about his wide range of interests from caving to supplements to the brain, I wanted to hear him speak about his passion, the AVE devices. The quality and quantity of information was astounding! His presentation had everything, old news casts, research spanning decades, jokes, experience with his own clients, information about how the brain works and why his devices work all backed up with scientific studies. "As a German distributor for light and sound devices and related products, I finally took the chance to attend at one of Dave’s AVE workshops, which was held in the Netherlands recently. Actually, I didn´t expect to learn much new, since I´ve been dealing and coping with light & sound devices for quite many years now. I had also read Dave’s book “The Rediscovery of AVE-Technology” and watched his AVE Training DVD before, which both contain lots of worthwhile and comprehensive information. So the main motivation for me to attend at the workshop was to actually meet Dave and Nancy and finally get to know them personally.
Even the more I was surprised and impressed, that I had been quite wrong: Against my expectations the workshop really enhanced my knowledge by a great deal about how AVE actually works and especially why it works the way it does! Dave presented lots of information, which is just too much and too complex, that it could be explained in his book or in his AVE Training DVD in a comprehensive way – and there also became many interconnections clear, which I hadn´t really been aware of before! What I appreciated mostly was the way, how Dave presents the information: He does not only make statements, which you may believe or not, but he also makes his statements obvious by comprehensive explanations and he makes them even evident by lots of scientific research, which he had collected and worked up in over 25 years. There actually hadn´t been any statement, which he couldn´t corroborate with a scientific research study! In order to not exhaust the participants, the workshop was also scattered by various exercises of both AVE and biofeedback applications. All together the workshop really outreaches Dave’s book and AVE Training DVD by far. You can get a glimpse at the scientific background of AVE by reading Dave’s book and watching his DVD – but you really get a deep understanding of it by attending one of his workshops. I recommend his AVE workshops to everybody, who seriously wants to work with this technology and who wants to apply it in a qualified way! Even for me as a distributor (and not a therapist), it has been one of the best investments which I have ever made, as it really enhanced my knowledge in a way, that I can now advise our customers even more qualified and seriously than I already did before.
I don´t want to miss mentioning, that I also gained a very positive impression of Dave and Nancy themselves. In our personal talks, it became very obvious to me, that Dave is actually more interested into the serious research of this technology than into the plain business. I actually believe, that he would rather cut of his right arm than just because of marketing reasons include some technical play-arounds of dubious worth into the DAVID devices.
