At Mind Alive we are leaders in Brain Entrainment as I routinely find our articles cited by others. In this segment I wanted to continue to list the types disorders that AVE helps.
This one was a surprise to me! Hypertension, or high blood pressure, is a life-threatening condition that affects over 60 million North American adults. How do you know if your blood pressure is high? Hypertension is defined as a systolic pressure exceeding 140 mm mercury (Hg) and exceeding 90 mm Hg, diastolic pressure. Many people with hypertension display "white coat syndrome", a conditioned response of the autonomic nervous system to increase blood pressure during anxiety. Using sub-delta AVE produced a drop in systolic of 20 mm Hg and diastolic pressure by 16 mm Hg. On average, the best medical treatment (using multiple meds) produces a drop of 16 mm Hg. The entire study is here.
Autistic/Special Needs Children
Our testimonial section has a number of parents who have used AVE to help their kids. Kids who had behavior problems had better reviews in school with only using the AVE for a month. I work with quite a few children in my Body Talk practice and the kids love the flashing lights and sound. I can keep them still for at least 20 min.
I wish I could figure out a way to get AVE in the hands of more business people, especially with high stress jobs that require travel. Traveling has it's own set of challenges with time changes, language barriers, flights, delays, hotels and unfamiliar food these all can be stressful. Having a 20 min session "meditation" session would help sleep and definitely help people stay focused on the job.
From our Facebook fan page I was encouraged to write about how AVE helps anxiety, in a safe, simple and convenient way. Some of my friends suffer from anxiety to the point of it keeping them from doing simple things like grocery shopping. I haven't convinced them to try AVE yet, even though the testimonials are quite convincing along with the Fibromyaglia study which shows reduced anxiety levels.
Migraines can be debilitating to say the least. I've only ever had one, but the people in the testimonial section have had great results using AVE to ease pain that often times medication couldn't. Having worked in a pharmacy you could buy several AVEs for the price of migraine meds.
High stress people
While I love meditation, it's not for everyone. Sitting still is a difficult task to say the least; however, with AVE meditation becomes so much easier for people. Once the brain knows what meditation is supposed to look like "turning off" for 20 min becomes effortless. For those suffering from post traumatic stress, the AVE can be a life saver, because you don't have to relive the experience to deal with it, instead you can let go by sitting back to let the AVE do the work for you.
Hopefully, I've covered everyone. If you didn't see your type in the last two posts, check out the testimonial section and the research section of Mind Alive.
