Stress and Anxiety

See how stress affects your brain and ways that you can improve your brain fitness by reducing stress and anxiety.

Nutrition

This video shows how important brain nutrition is for mental health and how to maintain it.

Sleep

 See how important sleep is for brain health and what happens when you are not getting good quality sleep, along with how you can get better sleep.

Exercise

Watch this video to see the benefits of exericise for mental health. There have been many studies that prove exercise does help with anxiety and depression.

Mindfulness

Watch this video to see how mindfulness can help with stress reduction and can increase positive emotions. Studies suggest that mindfulness helps us tune out distractions and improves our memory and attention skills which improves our focus.

Brain Awareness Week March 14 - 20, 2016

Brain Awareness Week (BAW) is the global campaign to increase public awareness of the progress and benefits of brain research.

Mind Alive Windbreaker Jacket Contest:  

Every day this week, we shall be sharing a video of how Dave keeps his "mind alive" and he wants you to share stories and photos/videos of how you keep your mind alive. Just email them to education@mindalive.com by March 29th and we will enter your name into a draw for a Mind Alive Inc. Windbreaker Jacket. We will be sharing these on our social media pages and in our monthly newsletter, so we will ask you for permission when you email us.

Wednesday - Jenn, our bookkeeper, says that working out at the gym really helps to keep her mind alive!

Thursday - For Brain Awareness Week, Bonnie, one of our assemblers, is sharing that working on puzzles keeps her mind alive!

Friday - Esther, our shipper, keeps her mind alive by using mind games like Sudoku, Lumosity and Wordkick.
