DAVID Paradise XL+^TM
The DAVID Paradise XL+^TM is the world's best Windows^TM programmable audio-visual entrainment (AVE) /cranio-electro stimulation (CES) device. The AVE section offers a complete variety of unique brainwave stimulation sessions plus selections such as independent brain hemisphere stimulation, binaural beats, digitized heartbeat and music modulation. The CES section, which runs on a 9-volt battery,  may be operated independently of the AVE section or synchronized with the stimulation of the AVE section.

AUDIO-VISUAL ENTRAINMENT (AVE):
To ensure safe, gentle and effective audio-visual entrainment (AVE), the Paradise XL+^TM offers the following:

• Tru-Vu Omniscreen^TM Eyesets - Our unique Tru-Vu Omniscreen^TM Eyesets were carefully designed to provide you with the most effective and safe light and sound experience. The Tru-Vu Omniscreen^TM Eyesets use eight high efficiency white bulbs mounted over a silver reflector behind a light blue-tinted translucent screen. This disperses the light evenly, protects the bulbs and removes any red light which may be produced by the bulbs. White light has been proven most effective in imagery, relaxation and visualization. Our new Tru-Vu Omniscreen^TM Eyesets are specially designed to allow for the left and right visual fields of each eye to be individually stimulated rather than the entire eye. With the Tru-Vu Omniscreen^TM Eyesets, the lights flash into the left visual fields of both eyes, then alternately flashes into the right visual fields of both eyes. This approach allows the ability to stimulate either visual cortex with a frequency different from the other visual cortex. For example, a person who functions strongly from the left brain could have 8 Hz stimulated into the right visual field (and therefore the left brain) to slow down left brain function and have 18 Hz stimulated into the left visual field to increase right brain function.
• Isochronic Pulsed Tones - The tones of the DAVID are evenly spaced, are of equal pitch and are turned on and off at a specified rate. This is important to enhance the effectiveness of audio entrainment.
• Pulsed Tones - Pure tones of equal pitch are turned on and off at a specified rate.
• Soft-Off^TM - The gradual lowering of the light stimulation at the end of the session prevents a startle response (also known as somnatic shock). Soft-Off^TM ensures that relaxation and other benefits carry over even after a session.

Travel means that the DAVID comes with an internal rechargeable battery pack and can be charged with the adapter provided and then run without electricity. Desktop means that the model must be plugged into an electrical outlet (using the adapter provided) in order to operate. The travel model also comes with a DAVID travel bag.

Independent Right Eye / Left Ear Rate
